Therapy Approaches

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is a therapeutic approach that involves paying attention to one's thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations, in the present moment, with a non-judgmental attitude. It is used in therapy to help individuals better understand and manage their mental and emotional experiences. Mindfulness can lead to improved connection to self and others.

Holistic

A holistic approach to therapy considers the individual as a whole person, taking into account their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. This approach seeks to address the root causes of an individual's issues. Holistic therapy promotes overall balance and harmony in the client's life, rather than solely treating specific symptoms.

Integrative

An integrative approach to therapy combines different theories and techniques from various therapeutic traditions to meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual client. This approach aims to create a personalized treatment plan that considers the individual's personality, background, and goals for therapy.

Cognitive Behavioral

Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is a type of psychotherapy that focuses on changing negative thoughts, emotions, and behaviors by modifying the underlying cognitive processes. CBT helps individuals develop new, more adaptive ways of thinking and coping, leading to improved mental health and reduced symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders.
